Magnetic drill operation method explanation

Mastering the correct operation method of the magnetic drill can avoid the occurrence of adverse accidents. We all know that the magnetic drill is small in size, but has high power and accurate positioning. The adsorption force of the magnetic base can be used to perform drilling operations from different angles. How should the magnetic drill be operated correctly?

　　1. Installation method of core drill bit.

　　A. Place the dowel pin (correct size) into the core drill. B. Place the drill into the chuck and secure it. C. Make sure the drill is properly installed. D. Add cutting fluid into the hole at the shank.

　　2. Check whether the power supply and voltage are stable.

　　3. Confirm that the speed gear is Ⅰ or Ⅱ. When the motor is rotating, it is absolutely not allowed to change gears. The motor part of MAB600, 800, and 1000 magnetic drills has speed and torque adjustment functions respectively.

　　The speed adjustment can be divided into six gears, and the torque adjustment knob is generally fixed.

　　4. When the adsorption surface is not horizontal, the safety chain of the magnetic drill must be used.

　　5. The magnetic drill must be operated on a smooth and clean iron surface, and the thickness of the steel plate must be greater than 6mm.

　　6. Before the motor operates, first calibrate the drilling position, then press the red magnetic base switch to start the magnetic base, and then press the green start button to start the motor.

　　7. When using a core drill or twist drill, do not apply too much pressure to speed up the drilling speed, as this will shorten the life of the drill bit. Please use cutting fluid when drilling.

　　8. To turn off the motor, press the red stop button.

　　9. When turning off the magnetic drill, please press the red magnetic switch.
